We're expanding our development team and looking for talented Junior Developers who are eager to grow their skills, especially in Apache Kafka and distributed systems. Proficiency in the Italian language is essential for this role.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and implement backend solutions using Kafka.

Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.

Monitor and troubleshoot Kafka-based data pipelines.

Participate in code reviews, agile ceremonies, and team meetings.

Communicate effectively with Italian-speaking clients and colleagues.

Stay up-to-date with new technologies and trends relevant to the backend development space.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or final year student).

Knowledge of Apache Kafka – experience with producers, consumers, and message brokers.

Familiarity with at least one programming language (Java, Scala, Python, or Node.js preferred).

Basic understanding of REST APIs and microservices architecture.

Proficient in Italian language – both written and spoken (mandatory).

Good problem-solving skills and a willingness to learn.

Nice to Have

Exposure to Docker, Kubernetes, or cloud services (AWS, GCP, Azure).

Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams.

Understanding of event-driven architecture and message streaming.
