Position: IT Manager

About the Role

We Are Fiber is seeking an experienced and proactive IT Manager to lead and oversee the organization's technology infrastructure, security, systems, and support operations. The IT Manager will be responsible for ensuring the reliability, security, and scalability of all IT services while aligning technology initiatives with business objectives. This role combines strategic planning, team leadership, vendor management, cybersecurity oversight, and hands-on technical expertise.

Key Responsibilities

IT Operations & Infrastructure

• Manage and maintain the company's IT infrastructure, including networks, servers, cloud services, telecommunications, and end-user devices.

• Ensure high system availability, performance, and reliability across all locations.

• Develop and implement IT policies, procedures, and best practices.

• Oversee system upgrades, software deployments, and infrastructure improvements.

• Manage backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity plans.

Cybersecurity & Compliance

• Develop and maintain cybersecurity strategies to protect company assets and data.

• Monitor security risks, vulnerabilities, and incidents.

• Ensure compliance with data protection regulations and internal security standards.

• Conduct periodic security audits and risk assessments.

• Lead awareness programs on cybersecurity best practices.

Team Leadership

• Lead, mentor, and develop the IT team.

• Set performance goals and conduct regular evaluations.

• Manage workload allocation and support professional growth initiatives.

• Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.

Vendor & Budget Management

• Manage relationships with external IT vendors, service providers, and technology partners.

• Negotiate contracts and monitor service-level agreements (SLAs).

• Prepare and manage the IT budget, ensuring cost-effective technology investments.

• Evaluate and recommend new technologies that support business growth.

Project Management

• Lead IT projects from planning through implementation.

• Collaborate with department leaders to identify technology needs and business requirements.

• Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.

• Drive digital transformation initiatives and process automation opportunities.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.

• Minimum 5 years of experience in IT management or senior IT administration roles.

• Strong knowledge of networking, cloud platforms, cybersecurity, systems administration, and IT operations.

• Experience managing IT budgets, vendors, and infrastructure projects.

• Knowledge of Microsoft 365, Azure, virtualization technologies, and enterprise networking solutions.

• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent project management and organizational abilities.

Preferred Qualifications

• Certifications such as ITIL, PMP, CISSP, CompTIA Security+, Microsoft Azure Administrator, or equivalent.

• Experience supporting multi-site operations.

• Familiarity with ISO 27001, GDPR, and information security frameworks.

• Experience with VoIP, cloud migration, and hybrid infrastructure environments.
